Going from beach to beach, exploring the island? There’s no better way to enjoy the summer! We can recommend the best coves and beaches for you to discover the paradise that is Mallorca. From east to west, north to south, these amazing beaches are waiting for you to take a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean.
Es Trenc beach
The highlight of the southern coast of Mallorca is this beautiful, unspoilt beach with white sand extending along more than five kilometres. A natural paradise boasting crystalline waters and fine sand, ideal for spending the day under a parasol, enjoying the sea breeze. You could easily mistake it for the Caribbean.
Caló des Moro
One of the most instagram-worthy spots on the coast is in the southeast corner of the island. Turquoise waters frame the backdrop of millions of photos every year. Situated at the end of a pathway through a typically Mediterranean landscape, the tiny cove at Es Caló des Moro is an unmissable piece of paradise.
Cala de Sa Calobra
Northern Mallorca contains the wildest beaches with breathtaking scenery. Sa Calobra is one of these magical places, the likes of which you’ll never have seen before. A beach between enormous vertical rocks, an example of truly exuberant nature. Access is by boat from the Port of Sóller or by car if you drive along the snaking road referred to as “the tie knot”. A real adventure!
Cala Millor and Sa Coma
If you prefer a more accessible beach with every convenience at hand, your best option is Cala Millor or Sa Coma. Long beaches with beautiful white sand and transparent waters located alongside an area of natural beauty, Sa Punta de N’Amer. Ideal for families, time will fly by as you enjoy spending time together in the sunshine.
Palma Beach
One of the most famous beaches on the island is situated just ten minutes from the airport. This kilometric sandy beach in the Bahía de Palma is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mallorca. Its promenade reaches the centre of the city of Palma, and you can wander, cycle or skate along it whilst enjoying the wonderful sea views.
Cala Mondragó
The Mondragó nature reserve has one of the prettiest beaches on the island, located in Santanyí, on the south coast. Between pine trees and sand dunes, you will find shady spots for a nap or to enjoy a picnic. This is the perfect place to bring the kids or explore nearby and you will find other tiny coves and coastal caves.
